We will be hosting our first outreach event on the 1st Saturday of October (10/05/24) at Jane’s. The event will be called BAM (Build-A-Mug) for Art Education and it will be happening during the opening of our "Niche Mug Challenge Show" for October, which will serve as inspiration for the public participating in the event. As we all know, art teachers in our public-school systems can truly use our help. Their budgets are so tight that most must dig into their own pockets to provide for their classrooms. Newly established as a non-profit art organization, our team at Jane's Art Center would like to give back to our community and promote art education in our school systems. Two 2hr sessions (1:30pm-3:30pm) & (5pm-7pm) Each guest will purchase their place at the table along with their mug ($45), Jane's will be donating $40 dollars per guest to benefit local ceramic departments in Volusia County public schools to help provide them with supplies for their school year. Sessions will be taught by Instructors and Advanced Members volunteering their time.
