Intro to Glass with Fused Faux Intaglio with Saulius Jankauskas

In the introduction lecture the workshop takers will learn the different options of glass manipulation, compatibility, theory of fusion and annealing, in the process of fusing glass. During the workshop you will learn the use of powdered frit enamels, using unique glass color NT enamels, creating stunning backgrounds, and dynamic surfaces to make a sculptural piece. We will also explore the unique properties of Artisan Color line (enamels that create bubbles). Learn dimensionality by using layers of glass, as well as creating your own colored frit. All materials and firings will be included in the workshop.
